靠前種，是我們對家用機械的鏈條常用的潤滑方式，就是用油壺或者油刷定期的給鏈條刷油。
第二種，是對不方便用工具刷油的機械鏈條，用油杯通過油管向鏈板間隙處進行滴油。
第三種，就是油浴潤滑或者飛濺潤滑，這是采用密封的傳動箱體，把鏈條的一部分浸入油中，后面的則是靠甩油盤濺油。
第四種，是用油泵壓力進行噴油潤滑，這是由油泵向鏈條連續(xù)供油，這樣循環(huán)就起到了潤滑和冷卻的作用。
